The Niche Market is one of the most lucrative for many of today’s Internet Marketers. Still, there are many questions that some people have. Other people mistakenly believe that they can write about anything at all and create their own little niche. While it is possible to create new niche markets, it is a little bit more involved than just writing something down and posting it on a webpage design template and throwing it up on the World Wide Web.

The first consideration should be the actual Market which is available for your particular niche. It should help immensely if you are able to get the first site up for your Niche Market but that will not help if there is no audience for your product or information. Obviously, if you create a site for recently retired space travelers, you may very well have an exclusive for that particular Niche but your audience will be more than limited as well.

For a Niche Market to succeed, a number of different factors must come into play. This will help you to drive targeted traffic to your site and increase your conversion rates and your profits. The benefits here should be obvious to most Internet Marketers. While “Content is King”, “The Money is in the List!”

Having a personal interest in the topic or subject comes in especially handy when other individuals are involved with the Niche Market as well. Whether these people are affiliates, JV or Joint Venture or even web designers or copywriters, they may not be as familiar with the subject at hand as the Internet Marketer is. While not usual and rarely done with any malicious intent, these people will make errors on occasion.

Even small errors will detract from the effectiveness of a site on the World Wide Web. Remember that if it can be written, it has been written in some form or another. The Internet Marketer must be able to present it in such a manner that they are the “Go-To” experts. Errors, no matter how small, will detract from readership, return traffic and from profits. If the idea is to earn money with a particular Niche Market, more knowledge always makes it easier to become “The” source for everyone else regarding that particular niche.

While there really are a substantial number of factors that will ultimately decide whether an Internet Marketer is successful with any Niche Market, having a passion about the subject and having an audience, which can be tapped into are certainly among the most important.

Keywords - The Long And The Short Of It

Many people do not properly understand how to use keywords and it reflects not only in the lack of any real quality regarding their sites, it also reflects poorly in the lack of return traffic it will be able to generate and ultimately in the rankings on the SERP or Search Engine Results Page. Learning how to properly use keywords in web content is imperative for anyone who wishes to even have a chance at success.

One of the most common misunderstandings is that the Search Engine Algorithms only look for one particular keyword or phrase. This is not even close to being true. The major search engines actually look for relevant keywords which are listed in the relevant section of the Meta Tags and make a comparison of those keywords to the actual text of the web page itself. While it may have been true in the past that the only part of the text the Search Engines reviewed was the first and last forty words, this is no longer the case in the world today.

It is still very important to have primary keywords and keyword phrases on the web page but they do not have to be as limited as they once were. In fact, industry standards are between one and a half to two and a half percent for the actual keyword density. Anything over four percent will raise flags with the search engines and anything over five percent will certainly drag your web page in for a review that you will not want if you are using this technique of keyword spam or spamming. Many websites have found this out the hard way once they were blacklisted by the major search engines.

Rather than concentrating on a limited number of keywords, utilize the primary keywords and phrases mainly in the beginning and the end of the content on the web page. Throughout the article, it is much better to use the primary keywords and phrases sparingly and to fill the content with alternate phrases related to the keywords which are also searched regularly on the search engines. There are many available tools for discovering what has been searched by the people using your keywords. Use these tools to select viable secondary and even tertiary alternatives so that you can still have quality content that is not redundant or difficult for the visitor to read.

Once you can establish a writing method like this for the content of your page, you will most likely be very pleasantly surprised by the results. Not only will your actual ranking on the SERP increase for your selected keywords but you will actually see an increase in the rankings for the secondary and alternate keywords and phrases which you have selected. Even then however, if all of the material on your web pages is specifically targeted for keywords, it can and frequently does make the actual content very difficult for most people to read. Using the alternatives throughout the page as well allows you to write in a freer form without being redundant or making the content overly choppy or broken up in order to contain a higher concentration of keywords. Remember that while proper Search Engine Optimization will drive more traffic to a web site, only quality content will keep people coming back for more.

Content should be written freely and naturally without appearing forced or strained. Try writing your materials first. After the information is down on paper so to speak, then re-read it and see where extra keywords or phrases can be inserted without breaking up the original context or intent of the written materials. That should allow you the opportunity to maximize your writing’s effectiveness, the utilization of keywords and phrases and to do all of that without creating any problems but only better results on the SERP.

Internet Marketing Tips - Split Testing Basics

One of the most important things you can do in your marketing online is split testing. Many people leave this out of their arsenal because they either think it is too time consuming or they simply don't know how to split test. Maybe they don't even know what split testing is. This article is going to try to clear some of this up so that you can incorporate split testing into your daily routine.

Let's first define what split testing is for those of you who aren't exactly sure what the concept is. For those who do, my apologies for this review. Split testing is essentially where you take one variable of your marketing campaign, which you use as your control and test it against another variable. You look to see which performs better. You then get rid of the one that didn't perform as well and keep the one that performed better. Okay, let's come up with some examples.

Let's say you want to split test a sales page. Well, the first thing you need of course is the sales page. After you have that completed, what you then have to do is take just ONE aspect of that sales page, say the headline, and change it. You then use split testing software, which you can get online, to run the two sales pages simultaneously, alternating between the two of them for each person who comes to your site. You look to see which sales page gets more sales. Whichever one does, you keep that version as your new control and then look to change something else about your sales page, say adding testimonials, and then repeat the process.

What about if we want to test ads for our sales pages? Well, this is easy enough to do. We simply write two different ads. We then use an ad submission service or an autoresponder service like Aweber, that allows us to send out two different ads to our list. We can then track which ad was opened more often and more importantly, which ad generated more sales. One note about Aweber. You need a certain size list in order to use split testing with them. So please be aware of this.

The above two examples are quite simplified for the purpose of this article. Split testing really gets a lot more complicated than this. But you need to get the basics down before you can get into advanced split testing theory, which I will cover in future articles. The purpose of split testing is to come up with the best sales page, ad, or whatever possible. This is the way it's done by the pros.

How I Got #1 Search Engine Ranking On Google In Two Hours
